Ronald Dworkin’s book, Taking rights Seriously has been translated into Chinese. The translator Mr. Sun is a judge in the district court in Penghu County, Taiwan and gets a LL.M. in Jurisprudence. Therefore his academic and practical backgrounds show how Dworkin’s idea in Law’s Empire can actually be realized to some extent. Dworkin said, “Jurisprudence is the general part of adjudication, silent prologue to any decision at law.” Yes, it is. Prof. Chuang also writes an informative testimonial for this book and translator.
